EXITED FOUNDER COACHING
You built something from nothing.
You led through chaos and earned your freedom.
Now you are standing in the quiet afterward,
wondering what truly matters next.
At Human Interfaces, I work with exited founders who are ready to explore this space, not through pressure or posturing but through values, virtues, and deeper purpose. Because what comes next shouldn’t just be successful. It should be meaningful. Aligned. And truly yours.

Reframe the Journey
You navigated complexity and made the impossible real. But now that you’re no longer sprinting, you might feel untethered. That’s not failure. It’s the invitation.
Together, we explore:
-
-
-
- The values that still anchor you, even as your identity evolves
- The virtues you want to embody in this next chapter
- The signal underneath the noise, your true purpose, beyond momentum or market trends
- What right action looks like when you are not reacting, but choosing
-

Why Work With Me
After an exit, things don’t always get easier, they just get quieter. The urgency drops, the calendar opens up, and the question shifts from “How do I build this?” to “What do I build next, and why?” That is the space I work in.
I have been a founder through the full arc – idea, scale, exit – and I know how strange it can feel when the structure that shaped your days is suddenly gone. I also know how tempting it is to rush into the next thing before you have had time to process the last.
That is why my coaching is not about pushing you into another sprint. It is about helping you pause, reconnect with what matters, and move deliberately into what is next. Sometimes that is another venture. Sometimes it is something entirely different. Either way, we make sure it is aligned.
I bring a mix of lived experience, strategic thinking, and deep listening to every session. Some conversations are practical and focused. Others go beneath the surface. All of them are designed to support clarity, not just around what you do, but around who you are now.
I am certified as an executive coach by the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and International Coaching Federation, and I have delivered hundreds of hours of coaching to founders and executives. I also mentor regularly at Techstars, NSF I-Corps, Ventures for Climate and Cornell eLab, and am a graduate of Columbia’s Greenhouse and Techstars Space programs.
If you are ready to move forward with intention I would be honored to work with you.
I have helped hundreds…
I’ve helped hundreds of clients over the years by levering real, actionable and tactical advice, not theoretical lessons. Leveraging my decades of experience in tech leadership and entrepreneurship, I guide you to the point of clarity and confidence with proven results.
Our conversations will help you build solid frameworks for dealing with similar situations in the future. Whether you’re looking to prioritize better, gain traction, strategically set goals and create value, or improve conflict resolution, fundraising, stress management, business politics, communication, and negotiation; I’ve helped founders and leaders through it all. Hundreds of times. Allow me to help you achieve your goal.

David
Founder, WelnessTech

Vladimir coached me for a year, bringing me clarity and valuable insights. His founder experience and thoughtful questions helped me improve my technical start-up and leadership style. His patience w.r.t my rambling rants and long winded questions was very kind and helpful. His advice often went beyond just the topic being discussed and towards the larger picture.
I highly recommend his services for clear and organized thinking.

Alex
Founder, HardTech

Vladimir’s an amazing listener and was able to provide valuable feedback and advice. I usually joined our meetings overwhelmed with decisions and left with clarity and action items. He even reached out with recommendations post meeting. I found what I was looking for and I’d highly recommend Vladimir for coaching services!

Why work with a coach after you've exited?
I offer a mix of directive and non-directive coaching to propel you forward on your leadership journey.
I show up to every founder coaching session ready to listen to what you’re working on and prepared to help guide you through your own decision-making process. And, when it makes sense, I’ll provide relevant recommendations.
I bring a diverse mix of experiences to each session as I’ve been in the technology field for 20+ years and have worked with a range of technology leaders and companies across different sectors. I have been a founder and I exited. I have led large and small teams as a technology executive, and have delivered over 500+ coaching hours to clients with a variety of backgrounds from all over the world.
I have been certified as an executive coach by the Haas School of Business, Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute at UC Berkeley. I have been a CTO/CIO at fintech and spacetech companies. I have been a regular mentor at various business schools and accelerators like TechStars, NSF I-corps, Cornell eLab. I am also a graduate of Columbia’s Greenshouse and Techstars Space Programs.
What is different about coaching for exited founders?
After an exit, the noise quiets, but the questions get louder. Unlike traditional performance coaching, this work focuses on purpose, alignment, and integration. We do not optimize your next move, we help you define what is truly worth doing.
I do not know what I want next. Is that a problem?
Not at all. In fact, that is where the real work begins. Together, we create space to listen to what is underneath the surface: values, instincts, unprocessed experiences, and what has been waiting for your attention.
I have money, time, and options, why do I feel stuck?
Because freedom without clarity can feel like drifting. The stories and structures that used to guide you are gone. Coaching gives you a compass, not answers, but orientation. We reconnect you with what matters most.
Can you help if I am thinking about starting again?
Yes, but we would not rush it. We will examine what is pulling you toward a new venture and what patterns might repeat. If you start again, it will be on your terms, with intention, not momentum.

What kinds of conversations will we have?
-
Who am I now, without the company?
-
What does success look like for this chapter?
-
What am I avoiding, and why?
-
What is worth building again?
-
How do I show up in my relationships now?
-
What am I proud of, and what still feels unfinished?
What does a typical session look like?
Every session is a conversation, sometimes quiet, sometimes confrontational, always yours. We meet virtually for 45 minutes. You bring what is present, I bring frameworks, reflection, and the ability to hold space for what is real. We leave each session with clarity, momentum, or peace, and sometimes all three.
What kind of results can I expect?
Clients describe feeling lighter, more grounded, and reconnected to their core. Some find the clarity to start something new. Others recalibrate their relationships, recommit to rest, or shift from striving to meaning-making. The goal is not a bigger outcome. It is a truer one.
What if I already have a therapist or advisory board?
Perfect. Coaching does not replace therapy or strategic advice, it complements them. Where therapy looks backward and advisors often focus on outcomes, coaching lives in the now: what you are sensing, choosing, building, or letting go of in real time.
Do I need to have a clear goal before starting?
Not at all. In fact, one of the most powerful outcomes of this work is discovering what your real goal is, beneath the noise, the expectations, or the habits of achievement. This is not about fixing you. It’s about meeting you where you are and making space for what’s next to emerge.
